Hi! My name is Barbara Wilson, the academic advisor for the Occupational Education Program located at the Round Rock Higher Education Center. Our program is specifically designed for the non-traditional student -- the working adult. Offering evening or weekend classes both on and off the main campus in San Marcos as well as traditional classroom classes, on-line classes, and correspondence classes, the working adult can complete the requirements for a Bachelor's of Applied Arts and Science degree.
One of our current students completing the internship phase of the program, has created this website specifically to share general program information and how to get started to the potential non-traditional student such as yourself.
Currently, the use of the touch screen in which you will obtain program information is considered a prototype. The intern is trying to see if such a device as this touch screen is a viable alternative to other recruitment methods, that may be worth continuing to tell others like yourself about the program.
At the end of your navigation, we ask that you please complete a short survey on your experience towards receiving the information about our program, and the means in which you used to obtain the information.
Thank you.
